About The Unseen Travelers
We’re a couple from Denmark balancing full-time jobs with a passion for exploring the world whenever we get the chance.
Travel has always been a big part of our lives, but in very different ways. One of us has as visited a lot of different destinations worldwide while doing a professional sport – but mostly seen the inside of sporting arenas. The other discovered a passion for traveling when volunteering in South Africa and backpacking through Asia and Australia during a gap year.
Our story
We endured on our first travel together on a weekend trip to Lithuania where we discovered a mutual passion for exploring, trying local food and seeing
Our first trip together was a weekend in Lithuania, where we explored local sights, enjoyed amazing food, and soaked in the beauty of nature. From there, we set off on our next adventure to Tanzania for an unforgettable safari. Since then, we’ve never stopped traveling, and together, we’ve visited over 60 countries.
We started The Unseen Travelers as a way to document our adventures and share travel tips, destination guides, and recommendations with fellow explorers. This is our passion project, and while we love sharing our experiences, we also value our privacy—hence the name The Unseen Travelers.
Our travel style is a mix of budget-friendly adventures and splurging on extraordinary experiences when we get the opportunity. We love road-tripping, exploring cities and nature on foot, and seeking out unique accommodations and unforgettable culinary experiences.
Why “The Unseen Travelers”?
We started The Unseen Travelers as we want to be able to look back at all our amazing adventures and share our traveling experiences, tips and recommendations with you all. This is a passion project and as we share our journeys, we are still working full time jobs. This is the reason behind our name as The Unseen Travelers as we still want to keep our privacy, even though we want to share all of experiences with you all.
